Please select the appropriate SquirrelSave installation file for your operating system and follow the instructions.

Please note that SquirrelSave is a discontinued product, and the below executables will not be available after 9th August 2017.

Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8

Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.

OS X (from Snow Leopard through to Mountain Mavericks)

Open the disk image, drag the SquirrelSave application to your Applications folder and then run the program, following the on-screen instructions. You may want to keep SquirrelSave on your Dock to refer to the current status of any backup that's running.

Ubuntu Linux

Download the 32- or 64-bit version depending on your operating system. Untar/ungzip the archive and copy the SquirrelSave binary somewhere your user account has access to. Launch from within your Window manager and follow the on-screen instructions to log in and configure the program.

We expect compatibility with most modern Debian/Ubuntu based systems, at least Ubuntu 12.04, 13.04, 13.10 and 14.04. Other distributions are worth a try, but we can't guarantee support.
